Michela graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a BSc Physiotherapy cum laude in 2008. While completing community service at Kalafong in Atteridgeville, her passion for orthopaedic rehabilitation grew.
She joined the previous practice in 2010 and, in 2011, completed an intensive specialisation course in orthopaedic and manipulative therapy. She has completed numerous postgraduate courses to maintain current knowledge of the latest treatments, including dry needling and hydrotherapy.
In 2014 Michela purchased the practice from the previous owner and has since endeavoured to provide a modern, fresh approach to managing the practice while maintaining excellent patient service.
Furthermore, she accompanied the Toyota South Africa team to the DAKAR rally as the team’s physiotherapist and co-ordinator in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
In her free time, Michela is an avid cyclist who has competed in numerous mountain bike stage races countrywide.
